Jazz in Marciac

This gallery shows a personal view of Jazz in Marciac. It’s not just the fabulous music but the whole carnival atmosphere that gives such pleasure – the dining, the stalls, the international flavour, the children, the romance, the costumes, and so much more. The night shots in this gallery contain people and because of the long exposures they are often blurred due to their movement. But I hope it provides a form of impressionism that at least gives a flavour of people enjoying the ambiance. Also in this gallery, are some photos of the rural Gers - the beautiful area around Marciac that reminds me of Tuscany. Some of these photos are candid shots and if you don’t wish to be part of the gallery please contact me.

I was an avid perceiver of your former gallery dedicated to Marciac. It is a beautiful place and your marvelous exposures made it look even more charming and beautiful. I was curios to see how this place will look like when the festival days begin, knowing that your unique style and vision will make all the difference. After going slide by slide through this wonderful series I have no other feeling but as I have been with you in Marciac. What a fantastic gallery Steve, and a great counterpoint to your earlier Marciac gallery - they complement each other so well, and it's really intriguing to see a photo from the same location or viewpoint but with a completely different scene.
