Marciac, France

I spotted this around 8 o'clock one evening and returned at the same time each night. The sun came through these arches and the solar show lasted for about a minute. If the chef was cooking steak the rays looked more intense. I captured 6 similar images and this was the best one because of the woman eating at the end of the ray.

Phew! This shot has such atmosphere, and I don't mean just that added by the chef. As others have said, well spotted, planned and pinned down. The eye-catching girl is the icing on the cake. Simply...wonderful.

Perfectly composition with the wonderful ray of sunlight directing the eye to the woman, nice that she is the focal point, but that the mood of this place is still there, and yet it doesn't overwhelm the subject...well captured...looks like there are many great eateries in France!
