My World -A Corner of Ireland in the 21st Century

The idea of 'My World' challenged me to consider how I see the part of Ireland I live in and how that comperes with the expectations
of visitors.
When we go on holidays to a country that's new to us, we tend to fill our memory cards with the 'postcard' images: that which is beautiful and quaint, historical and picturesque, ignoring many of the scenes of contemporary life. I
n this gallery I want to strike a balance between the Ireland of castles and cottages and the Ireland of retail parks and unfinished housing estates.
