I have found that working for the newspaper really screws up my photography.
It's not that the job is especially demanding.
It is, afterall, sitting in front of a computer reading and altering text.
And, to be honest, I actually quite enjoy the change from my normal computer-facing work.
It is mostly because I have to be in a certain place at a certain time.
For two nights a week I am not my own boss and I can't just put things to the side for a more convenient time.
Not that I'm complaining: I have plenty of photos in my back catalogue to curate.
