Facilities at the Overlook of Dead Horse Point State Park


At the main overlook of Dead Horse Point State Park is a large parking lot, picnic area, shade structure, viewing platform, rest rooms, interpretive sign, and a walkway along the precipice, from which one gets different views of the landscape below. Eldar, I did not miss (overlook) that facility when I was there, but it was so nice that I do miss (yearn for) it now. My next trip to Moab will concentrate on the sanitary infrastructure; my former theme of "Touch the Sandstone" will change to "Touch the Toilet."
