I tend to agree with you because of the right size (around 3 inches), yellowish belly, white throat and dark head. I also seem to recall that it was noisy and active while I was taking its pic, with a sound similar to that described in the Kennedy Guide - "tip tip" or something like "chip chip".

The only thing puzzling me is the color of this bird's side or flank looks different from that of the male PFP illustrated in the KG. The PFP in the Caylabne gallery appears to be female, BTW.

I'm tempted to say these two photos are Dicaeum p. pygmaeum - Pygmy Flowerpecker. The absence of unmistakeable lores make me think that this is a male - possibly subadult. Other input welcome to confirm this analysis!
