Who says metalflake paint should be reserved for cars?

I've been preparing for David's return today, including a pampering for myself - hence the newly painted nails and newly dyed hair.

It's funny, looking back on yesterday's pic of the day, I realised just how lucky I am. Here I am, waiting for the return of a wonderful, sexy, kind, intelligent, talented man who makes me happy. In fact, my very own SEX GOD! I kind of felt that all those women last night found themselves wishing a bit too hard about another life - in fact wishing for one a bit like mine. David said to me last week something like 'life doesn't get much better than this' - it made me feel like a million dollars and then I thought - he's right - life doesn't get much better than this. Yes, it's hard work, yes, I spend too many hours away from home but the good bits are REALLY good and the hard bits are nothing more than irritating.

We've got a really busy week this week, David has two projects to finish and a wedding to photograph as well as a new project to start - an industrial photography project, photographing instruments for a catalogue - I hope he's pleased because he doesn't even know about this one yet - it's a recommendation from a good friend.

I've got lots of pampering lined up for him too - help keep the stress of the work down with some play. So, we're off out to a restaurant - I've given him a day to settle down to being home, catch up on lost sleep then the next day we're off to a lovely little Thai restaurant for supper followed by Blues at the Cambridge. I'm so excited - it feels like I haven't had a proper meal for weeks and the Blues nights at the Cambridge are always really good fun. I hope by the end of this week we'll be able to use our own cooker again.

That's nothing to the excitement of having him home - this week of Le Mans always feels like a lifetime and moreso this time because of the chaos at home.
