These are the words of the great, divine talent of Nick Lowe who, apparently, doesn't like his lyrics being published (dunno where I heard that but it comes to mind) so I'll probably end up being sued for this one! It's a strange thing because I'd usually associate such stuff with jumped up little upstarts who take themselves too seriously but this man wrote the superbly tongue in cheek Switchboard Susan. He can't be like that! Ah well, Nick, if you do see this please believe the sentiment is honestly felt!

The words sprang to mind earlier today when I was (and still am) experiencing the same feeling exactly. My baby is on his way home and I am watching the clock and waiting - not very patiently! It's going to be a long evening but hopefully with the sweetest of rewards at the end.

Oh and David - when you read this I'm now dissatisfied with my tripod too - it wasn't big enough to get this shot - I knicked the Manfrotto and plate from your camera!
