What also TOTALLY impressed me about this gate at SFO were all the plug-in outlets EVERYWHERE for passengers to charge their electronic devices, which is why I took this picture. For every 4 seats, there were 4 outlets (see just to the right of the guy on the left). Then, beyond these four rows of seats was a high counter bar, with bar stools and EACH seat had an outlet on the backsplash! Then along the window wall were easy chairs with another 4-outlet switch on each column.
