My favorite pair of Art Nouveau buildings in Prague is located on Národí Street at no.7 & 9. Pojišťovna Praha (Prague Insurance Company) and Topičův dům (Topič House), built for a publishing company, were constructed between 1906 and 1908. Both were designed by Austrian born Osvald Polívka (1859-1931) who designed many of Prague’s important buildings of the era.
