Cobweb spider (Enoplognatha ovata)

A gorgeous little cobweb spider found near the Nortel woods. It had built its web on a milkweed plant.

I have never heard of this spider before. It looks a lot like a crab spider. I now wonder if I may have seen this species before and overlooked it because I thought it was a crab spider. Very interesting photo!
