Photos from our drive up the coast, our stay at Salishan Lodge in Gleneden Beach, OR, and our drive home through the interior.

Should any viewers wish to make a similar journey, we would recommend doing it in reverse. The view is better while driving from north to south, since one is on the ocean side of the road. In addition, there are many scenic turnouts along the coast, and they are more easily accessed when one does not have to cross over the center line.

But it's a fine trip either way.
