Ping Shan Heritage Trail

Do you know what is the meaning of "Ping Shan" in Chinese? "Ping" is partition and "Shan" is hill. Ping Shan is one of the oldest villages in Hong Kong. The pioneers of Tang clan have been living in Ping Shan from twelfth century. Therefore, the family name of residents in Ping Shan is "Tang".

According to the booklet of Ping Shan Heritage Trail, the Trail links up a number of traditional Chinese buildings within easy walking distance, providing visitors with an opportunity to learn more about traditional life in New Territories in a convenient half-day tour.
