There are several walled villages (wai) in Lung Yeuk Tau. Kun Lung Wai and Lo Wai are two of several of them. Their name is close related to both of others. The other name of Kun Lung Wai is San Wai. In Chinese, "San" is new and "Lo" is old. Of course, Lo Wai is older than San Wai. Lo Wai is the first village in Lung Yeuk Tau. It was built in 1744.
