It is situated in San Uk Tsuen. In English, San is New, Uk is house and Tsuen is village. It was built in 1840.
Although it is called Study Hall, the major function of this building was not for teaching and studying, it was used for ancestral worship.
The study hall was just an auxiliary function in this building.
