Built in 1901 by King Rama 5, Vimanmek Royal Mansion is the largest building of golden teak in the world. It was renovated by Queen Sirikit (wife of the present king, Rama 9) and now serves as a musuem of art and artifacts from Europe and Asia collected during the time of King Rama 5.
