On January 17, 2010 from 11 AM to midnight Silom Road was closed to traffic and became a walking street from Rama 4 Road to Chong Nonsi. The road was decorated with flowers and lights. There were performers on stage and on the street. There were things for sale. There was lots of loud music and an endless amount of food. And as the day progressed it got more and more crowded. But it was "sanook mak" (a lot of fun), and that was what mattered. These photos are my impression of that day.
