I went over to the park today to get some photography in. One thing I really like is back-lit sun scenes. I have to admit to just about zero success at getting anything that resembles what I actually saw. This was my attempt today. I was shooting into the sun using a tree trunk to block the sun. There were very nice shiny highlites on the needles when I was looking at the scene. This was the best I could do. I have a long way to go in the artsy-fartsy category.

Canon EOS 5D Mark II

This came out very nice. I did something similar in Bastrop to catch the sunlight on the pine needles. Voted.
