High Plains Illumination by Pat

This is 4 Minolta A1 images (May 29, 2004) merged into a panorama. These images were taken in late afternoon as spotlights of sun pushed through scattered clouds onto the mesas and plains below the Flatirons and Eldorado Canyon south of Boulder, Colorado. I used the magic wand to selectively eliminate color in most of the image, leaving the spots of brightest sun alone.

Hi Pat,
Very well done and presented. I love your effort here. It comes across quite effectively without appearing to be forced. Very smooth.
Cheers, John

The effect gives it a watercolor feeling. Perfect for those sunny highlights and subtle at the same time.
