Widefooted Treehopper nymph (Enchenopa latipes)

The nymph is green and brown and very spiky and by ants as so many treehoppers are. Once again, this is an example of a mutually beneficial relationship... the ants get the sweet honeydew secreted by the hoppers, and they protect the bugs in return.
