Looking south in Junction Valley Idaho/Utah. The cattle guard ensures that Idaho cattle remain in Idaho and Utah cattle remain in Utah. The land on the far side of the sign is in northwestern Utah.

I could not remember seeing the green sign on previous drives down this road. The fact that it is much newer than its mounting post leads me to believe that it was installed recently and that the original sign had been missing for years. The sign's supposed absence caused me some grief in 2005.
