To the left is Idaho, the right, Utah. The dark stake between my legs marks the position of a survey marker that defines the boundary. The stone is also on the boundary. This is about twenty feet north of the "Entering Utah" sign that appears in another photo. This was taken in Junction Valley, between Oakley, Idaho and Lynn, Utah. I was on my way to Lucin.
Ralph Tripod was not straddling the boundary when he
held my camera for this shot---he was entirely in Utah.
