Views in Kirindy NP and on the journey from there to Tsingy de Bemaraha. On the way we had to cross the River Tsiribihina by means of a rather alarming car ferry. This was basically a couple of boats which had been welded together with old railway rails and planks of wood. Boarding and disembarking the ferry was best observed from a safe distance ! The ramps had seen better days. Later, just as it was getting dark we had to cross a second river, the River Manambolo, near the village of Bekopaka which is where our hotel was located. The National Park HQ Office for Tsingy de Bemaraha is at the Bekopaka ferry crossing.
