After our overnight stop in Antsirabe we continued north, skirted around the outskirts of Tana and headed over the mountains to Andasibe NP. Somewhere along the way we passed a locality of a few hundred metres where all the houses were selling hand made model trucks beautifully painted and decorated. A very local and localised industry. The red and white trucks with the logo THB are advertising the best selling beer in Madagascar. It is called Three Horse Beer. Why a French and Malagasy speaking country should give its favourite beer a name in English is beyond my understanding !
