The Garden Warbler is one of the drabbest of our summer migrant birds and it often likes to skulk in thic bushes or high trees. It is almost totally lacking in any notable field markings - which is conversely the easiest way to identify it. What it lacks in looks it more than makes up for with its song which is one of the most melodious and loud songs of any woodland bird.
