Galapagos

It is challenging to describe what a Galápagos experience is like. First of all, there is the implausible abundance and diversity of wildlife. Second, when you walk amongst the creatures on the islands, you really feel that this is their space, and that you are very much the outsider. Third, is the fact that all of the wildlife basically takes no notice of you. So you really feel, as someone said, as if you are inside a Discovery Channel documentary. Except it is far, far better than that!
