The Palais Bahia, or Palace of the Favorite, was built by two powerful grand viziers at the end of the 19th century. This will be a relatively short gallery featuring mainly the elaborate ceilings, which were different in every apartment we visited.

I was undecided whether to straighten this or leave the distortion, but the corrected version just looked a bit unnatural to me, and the uncorrected one bothers my sense of balance ;-).
