This story doesn't belong with this picture, but I really would like to relate it for those of you who view this image.
When we were packing out of our house to move to Budapest, we had to move into a hotel towards downtown Washington that was about 15 blocks away. We used to drive to the house from there every day, along with Sahraa. We walked twice after we sold our car. So one day I had to stay at the hotel to work, while my husband and Sahraa went to the house as the painters were there. The painter left the gate open, and she left the premises. He went chasing after her, but couldn't keep up (she is like a gazelle when she runs, except she knows nothing about cars and traffic...) and he even got a police cruiser to help chase her. They couldn't catch her, and suddenly she was gone.
It turns out that she ran all the way to our hotel, marched in the front door and got on an elevator. She got off on the wrong floor (she's not that smart ;-)), but went to our room on the different floor and parked herself by the front door. I guess she thought I was still there, but I had in the meantime walked to the house. The hotel staff put her in our room for us until we got back.
That is what I call a pretty amazing dog!
