Black Lava, Droplets and Hana Road

The Road to Hana, or officially "Route 360," is approximately 52 miles long and has over 600 curves and 52 bridges. The road was constructed 1926.

It is almost impossible to stop on every place of interest, reach Hana and return to the central part of Maui. Best way to explore this road is to stay overnight in Hana.

I once visited Maui and travelled down to Hana. I took many photos on that winding roads. I thought I got something... my dummy camera got stucked on the first frame... as it never took any pictures. Oh well.
I want to thank you for bringing back my fun memories on the Road to Hana. Aloha!

Hi Thomas,

It's been great to look at your photos. When I was in Hawaii in 1986, I drove the Road to Hana but my camera malfunctioned, and I have NO photos of that leg of the trip.
