Feast at Lele, a Luau in Lahaina,
seen in January 2007 505 Front Street, Lahaina Of all the luau's we have attended in Hawaii, we liked this luau in Lahaina the most. It was nice to remain seated and have the food served in 4 separate courses. Each course presented food from a different country and beautiful dances from that country complemented each course. We enjoyed the food and dance of Hawaii, Aotearoa, Tahiti, and Samoa. The performers were wonderful and the food was delicious. The guests sit facing the waterfront and on a clear day guests can see the island of Lanai as a backdrop. If the weather is nice, the evening is a fabulous combination of a glorious sunset, great food, and beautiful music. Of course in January it became rather quickly completely dark, and in the evening we saw the luau it was cloudy. Even if it's a cloudy evening, the luau is worth attending just for the food and music. |
