apparently some are feeling hemmed in these days, although that has not resulted in public protests like those being encouraged south of the border...its peaceful here, and a lot quieter

Interesting layers and juxtaposition. Protests are definitely not encouraged or welcome around here. And even where they are occurring it is a minority. If the media would not emphasize the so much, then they would have no effect, except sending more people to the hospital and and funeral parlors.
