re-opening

False Creek

a closer look at the inlet, and Granville Island in particular...apparently restaurants such as Bridges could re-open by mid May, once ways to maintain physical distancing have been worked out in consultation with the industry

I'll bet that is a popular place. I wonder how many restaurants will survive through these troubling times.

Flickering signs of hope for your country with lifting of some emergency measures...an excellent aerial view of the harbour...V

Canada resists well to Covid compared to many European countries and, of course, its neighbor. In this perspective an opening for mid-May does not seem unrealistic. V.

Fine picture, it looks like a busy place in normal times. Right now everything seems to be weird...! So sad! V

An excellent view of Granville Island, boats, and the bridge.

Such a beautiful area, and with all those boats I would think they would do a good business even with the imposed distancing. We must try to save some of these businesses.

A lovely setting. I hope they can open soon. Going to be a challenge to eat with a mask on. :-)

Great that things may start to re-open; however, woe to all if we do it too early and let the $$$ dictate the opening without proper planning and testing.

Sad to think of Granville Island idle - great bird's eye view of the inlet V

We aren't there yet, but maybe can see the light in the distance.

Well take. I wonder if the physical distance will be adhered to. Eat at home, David.
