False Creek

the south shore of the inlet has many condo buildings, luckily not too tall...the series of little bridges lead onto the various floats of Fisherman's Wharf, where fresh fish can be bought direct from the boat

I would love that, I could eat fresh fish, everyday!

Very interesting view and a great shot of it. I wonder if people are still buying fish from the boats now. ~BV~

When in Vancouver this is one of my favourite place to go for a walk. Considering how times I have been there, I have surprisingly few images. It is now on my list for as soon as we get the "all's clear". Lovely image, brings back many fond memories. V

Interesting repeating forms in those little bridges. I'll bet those condos on the waterfront aren't cheap! Great point of view.

A nice urban tissue with intrications of jetties and buildings. A great POV ! V.

Not too many buying fish today :( A very different POV of Vancouver.
PS I sure miss popping out in the canoe to catch supper :(

It is an intriguing scene and beautifully photographed, but oh man, that density is not for me. V

An attractive place to live if one likes condos, especially with fresh fish at one's doorstep.

A beautiful overview image in good light David.

Cool perspective with this myriad of detail. Buying directly off the boat is the way to go, fresher, no middleman and you deal directly with the people who made the catch.

Love the POV. Looks like a vibrant area.

You can't get fresher than that!

The thought of fresh fish appeals to me. This view from up on high adds to the interest. "V"

Interesting view from this position. I hope you are taking a staff with you on the bridge. With Covid-19 you may have to get into a Robin Hood / Little John style fight in order to maintain physical distancing. ;)

a nice view with the marina in the foreground.
