Goldwell Open Air Museum - Rhyolite

This museum began as an artist project in 1984 on the edge of the ghost town. Belgian Sculpter Albert Szukalski first created life-size ghostly figures by wrapping live models in fabric soaked in wet plaster. Other artists then joined in with their own work.
