Cappadocia's landscape and its "fairy-tale chimneys" in Turkey is a favorite for hot-air balloon rides. We almost didn't get to go, due to a storm that morning. Finally, the skies opened up and our pilot told us it was a go. Overall, it was a beautiful ride, ending with a raucous but soft landing in a muddy field. Couldn't have been a better day.
