Ship on the River

Missisippi River, Destrehan, LA

My husband and I took our bikes to ride on the bike trail on top of the levee this morning. There were many boats up and down the river. I also saw a few birds. Here is an egret standing at the river's edge.

It looks hot and muggy in this shot. Love seeing photos of this waterway with its constant parade of boats. Nice catch of the egret too.
