Standing Tall

It was a hazy, hot summer day in Louisiana. We are still looking for rain to end the drought. The grass is turning brown and the trees are beginning to lose their leaves. This crow was also looking for something to drink. It found a nice bowl filled with water.

The haziness gives it a ghostly feeling. I bet they've survived many droughts before.

I know the drought feeling, Elaine so know whay your going through. I wish we could have some drought breaking stuff...never seems fair that a few states away they are being washed away !!
