Zoos are great locations to practice photography as they provide a large variety of subjects you
may never see anywhere else and they can also give the photographer some real challenges. Some of these
challenges include tricky lighting, moving subjects, shooting through glass and other types of enclosures.
Experiencing this zoo from a photographers viewpoint was fun, exhausting and it was difficult to leave at the
end of the day. Woodland Park Zoo is located in Seattle, Washington, and it encompasses 92 acres
featuring the largest live animal collection in the state.
