Ye Olde Photographer and his Faire Spouse embarked on a trek to see and photograph the August 21, 2017 Total Solar Eclipse in southeastern Illinois. We scheduled a relatively leisurely pace that allowed time to stop and explore a little. As most of Faire Spouse's family lives in Indiana, some visits there were included, as well as meeting friends from the western part of Pennsylvania for lunch on the way back. We even worked in use of an Argus C-3 35mm camera for Argus Day!
All in all, the eclipse viewing went surprisingly well for something Ye Olde Photographer has had no chance to practice with!
The following galleries are in chronological order, with a few miscellaneous individual photos that didn't warrant a gallery thrown in.
