Steve and Mary, ASU-Stanford and Chinatown

Today being Saturday, our roundball game was scheduled for the afternoon. We first drove to Cupertino and visited and lunched out with our long-time friends Steve and Mary. It had been far too long since we last saw each other, and it was incredibly great to get together, even if only for a short while. Afterwards, we drove to the Stanford campus in Palo Alto and watched the Sun Devils struggle and lose to the Stanford Cardinal. At least our seats were excellent (behind and to the right of the Devils bench), and once again the guys really played hard and gave it their best effort. Back at our hotel, the concierge helped us find a nice down-to-earch restaurant in Chinatown. We ate at the Hunan Home's Restaurant -- not fancy, but good food at a reasonable price. Chinatown is a great place to window shop, and is especially colorful at night. After our walk back to the hotel, it soon was time for beddy-bye!
