| The first day of our trip was full one! After our flight we picked up our little blue Nissan Versa (perfect for the crowded streets of San Francisco) and drove to the hotel. Then we walked to Union Square and took a quick peek at Chinatown. A bit later, we drove through the Traffic Jam from Hell across the Bay Bridge to Berkeley. We ate pizza and salad at a microbrewery called Jupiter (perfect!) and drank enough to recover from the drive. (The Quasar Double IPA is particularly helpful in this regard.) We then watched the Devils play hard but ultimately lose to the Golden Bears. Then, back to the hotel and a good night's sleep. |
