Good take on the theme. The darker coloured V scales add a centre of interest, but I really think this is a shot that could benefit from the delineation of being framed.

Craig, good entry. Textures within textures. Interesting subject. However, I'd prefer to see a larger version of the same crop if you could do it without compromising image quality so I could see the textures on the scales better. The pattern of darker scales adds some interest in a unique take on the theme as far as organic scaly creatures, as opposed to inorganic scaly creatures lurking further up the gallery. ;^)
