Rahmi M. Koç seems to have been an avid collector of almost everything. Quite close to the main gate of the Ankara citadel one reaches a museum where in an old han one is led along groups of model trains, model boats, old camera’s, steam engines, dolls, you name it. It is supposedly Ankara’s “first industrial and transport museum”, and though it feels a bit like being at a pawnbrokers it is nice. I advice anyone to spend the few YTL and have a good twenty minutes fun. The museum is on the upper floor of the han, downstairs seems to be a restaurant. See the museum website.
