Oceanus mosaic In the centre of a panel the head of Oceanus, the rest of the frame is filled with geometric meanders and lozenges. Hew turns his head towards his right shoulder. He has bushy hair, and two crb legs rising from his forehead. Second – third century AD, from Harbiye.
At the same spot another mosaic was found with a damaged scene with the head of a horse, tips of wings understood to belong the horse, and only the head of a youth understood to be riding the horde. It is understood the youth is Bellerophon and the winged horse Pegasus.
