Bath from Kültepe, 1900-1700 BC

Old-Hittite, dating from the ‘Assyrian Colonies Period’ (or: ‘Period of the Anatolian City States’).
At the time (at least 50 years before the Hittite established their first unified empire) the city-state of Kaneş/Kültepe was one of the few that was ruled by Hittite lords; most of the other Central-Anatolian city-states were under autochthonous Hatti (or: Hattic/Hattian) rule.
