This Park of the Youth has always been a nice green spot in the centre of old Ankara, but was a bit dilapidated. In 2011 I found it had been thoroughly overhauled. It is full of multi-coloured lights, and its fountains, always a pleasure, now change colour all the time. There also was a half-hour of laser-show, of which I show some images. And then there is the permanent fairground, with state of the art attractions.
