The very afternoon I received the adapter, I tried it with four Nikkor prime lenses on the EOS 20D, just casually taking photos in my back yard to see how the metering and manual focusing worked. I used the 105 DC, the 400mm f/3.5, the 300mm f/4 AF-S,and the 85mm f/1.4 AF-D. I actually made a few pictures I was pretty happy with,and the adapter worked acceptably well.The light metering results are actually damned good,considering the contrasty lighting that afternoon.
