After watching the show Impression Lijiang and had lunch, we took the cable car up to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. It was really snowing there. Each of us from this group has seen a snow mountain before, so this was not exciting. We were all given a can of oxygen, which was helpful, not only because of the altitude, but also because of the crowd inside the station when we queued up to descend. We waited a long time there, and more or less felt dizzy.
Personally I think we stayed too long on the snow mountain for the visibility was very low. There was nothing to see. I wish we would have come down earlier, because the Blue Moon Valley, which was not far away, was spectacular ! When we got there the weather was nice, but within half an hour the sun was behind the clouds and it was getting late.
The Blue Moon Valley is a small area, but it's stunningly captivating.
