Dali

Compared to the day spent in Kunming, the activity in Dali was a piece of cake.  Chong Sheng Monastery was very impressive, especially under the sunny blue sky. It was a gorgeous day.  My photo #13 speaks it all - "On a clear day you can see forever."  Those who think the whole China is polluted would be surprised when they see Yunnan.  My hotel is a unique one located in an outskirt.  The next morning we took a ride in a carriage to see the village and the picturesque Erhai Lake.
