Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan, is called "The Happiest City" by many Sichuanese Chinese. They seem to have the least pressure in their daily lives. There's a place known by the locals as the Mahjong Park, where there are tables of Mahjong everyday for people to play. They serve tea and also offer other services. Most of my tour mates sat down to take a Mahjong lesson, but I just walked around. I found a lovely but lonely little boy who was amusing himself by stacking them up as legos. At first he was very shy and wouldn't let me even look at him, but after I cheered him a bit, he was very happy to let me share the fun with him.
Departing Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan, we flew to Lhasa, Tibet (I set up a separate gallery for the photos of Lhasa).
